The Friends of Linden Inc., a local nonprofit, invites the public to its free presentation of the 2001 animated comedy Shrek. The free screening will be held on Saturday, July 18, at Bulldog Park, which can be found at 302 E. Water St. in Linden.
Free hot dogs, popcorn, and water will be handed out courtesy of Valero Renewables in Linden. The North Cornerstone Church will also hand out free candy. Free Kona Ice will be available courtesy of Tipmont. Concessions begin at 8 p.m.
The public is encouraged to bring their own lawn chair and/or blanket. The movie is planned to begin at dusk. If rained out, it will be held on July 25 at the same location.
