The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announced a bridge closure that will impact State Road 32 in Yountsville. Work is expected to begin on or after Monday, July 6.
According to its statement, INDOT contractors will close the S.R. 32 bridge over Mill Creek, which is located near County Road 400 W. The purpose of the closure is for a full bridge replacement with reinforced concrete. Construction is anticipated to last until the end of 2026, weather permitting.
The official detour around the project follows S.R. 25 to U.S. 136 to S.R. 341, back to S.R. 32.
