NMHS student earns Student of the Month honor from West Central IN CTE

A North Montgomery High School student was honored as the Student of the Month for March 2026. Bailey Nichols is part of the Fire and Rescue Career and Technical Education (CTE) class the program hosts. New Market Fire Dept. heats things up with chili dinner

The New Market Volunteer Fire Department invites the community to its chili dinner on Saturday, March 28. It’ll be held from 4 until 7 p.m. in the New Market Fire Station at 201 W. Main Street. Jackson Twp. Volunteer Fire Department preparing for breakfast & gun raffle

The Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Department in Fountain County is hosting its annual Pancake and Sausage Breakfast & Gun Raffle on Saturday, March 21. It’ll be open from 7 to 10 a.m. in their building at 3898 S. State Road 341. Free will donations accepted! Humans United for Equality (HUE) and the Crawfordsville District Public Library (CDPL) is inviting the community to their 2nd Human Library event this weekend. The Indiana Federation of Business and Professional Women (INFBPW) chapter in Crawfordsville invites everyone to its Spring Fever Fair on Saturday, February 28th. It'll be held at the Montgomery County 4-H Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. A bake sale, vendors, and door prizes are some of the highlights. Montgomery County 4-H seeks items for consignment auction

Montgomery County 4-H is now accepting items for its consignment auction. It'll be held at the county 4-H Fairgrounds on Saturday, March 14th starting at 9 a.m. Accepted items include farm and livestock equipment; tools; ATVs; snowmobiles; mowers; and more. Those interested can contact Josh Patton at 765-366-9808. All items must be pre-approved. Items such as furniture, appliances, and dishes will not be accepted.
