Drug Free Montgomery County hosts movie screening

Drug Free Montgomery County invites the public for a free screening of The Addict’s Wake, an independently made documentary about the struggles of battling addiction. It will be held at Crawfordsville High School on Thursday, March 5th from 5 until 8:30 p.m.

Filmed in Brown County, IN, the documentary follows residents grappling with drug addiction and the hidden impacts it has created in communities. Director Michael Husain received the Indiana Spotlight Award and the Audience Choice Award for his work on the project in 2021.

A panel Q&A session will follow after the film’s conclusion. Food will be provided by Sunoco. Open to adults 18 and older. Registration is required.
