Linden Depot Museum announces completion of caboose restoration

The Linden Depot Museum announced in a press release its completion of exterior restoration of the historic Nickel Plate caboose. Featured prominently at the museum's front entrance, the caboose serves as a unique artifact of a railway that has long since retired. Linden Depot Museum set to open for 2026 season

The Linden Depot Museum is preparing to open its doors for the 2026 season. Starting Friday, April 3, visitors from across the country are invited to view its expansive collection of train memorabilia inside of an historic depot. Some of their exhibits include a caboose, an 1837 steam locomotive, and various trinkets such as pocket watches, train signals, and an entire fully-modeled town that serves as a celebration for locomotive history.
