Ellen Simpson, who had served as the director for the FISH Food Pantry in Montgomery County since 2020, has announced her decision to step down from the role earlier this week. Friends of Linden invites public to free movie night

The Friends of Linden Inc., a local nonprofit, invites the public to its free presentation of the 2001 animated comedy Shrek. The free screening will be held on Saturday, July 18, at Bulldog Park, which can be found at 302 E. Water St. in Linden. The Montgomery County Youth Service Bureau (YSB) has announced the date for this year's National Night Out. The completely free event will be on Tuesday, July 28, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Held annually at Milligan Park, it includes free hotdog meals, free popcorn, exotic animals from Silly Safari, fire trucks, police vehicles, a DJ, bounce houses, caricaturists, a foam party, as well as giveaways.
