2026 Linden Easter egg hunt a success despite rain

The Friends of Linden, Inc. held their annual easter egg hunt this past Saturday. The hunt was moved inside North Cornerstone Church off U.S. 231 due to forecasted heavy rain. Dozens of families helped clean the church floors of eggs, prizes, and even bicycles to a select few. Knights of Columbus brings back Tootsie Roll Drive

The Knights of Columbus Council 1591 is going to help raise money for the Montgomery-Parke County Special Olympics team. Donations will be collected on Friday, May 8, from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m., and on Saturday, May 9, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. The donations allow the athletes to participate in the Special Olympics with no cost to them. The New Ross Conservation Club invites the community to breakfast and lunch on Saturday, April 11. Breakfast menu includes pancakes, sausage, coffee, and milk.
