The Crawfordsville | Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce welcomed the community to another State Legislative Breakfast this past Saturday. The Montgomery County Community Foundation (MCCF) is actively seeking adult nominations for its 2026 Volunteer of the Year Award, and youth nominations for its 2026 Peggy Herzog Youth Volunteer of the Year Award. 2026 Dancing with the Montgomery County Stars Lineup Revealed

The dancing pairs for the 2026 Dancing with the Montgomery County Stars got revealed Saturday. All proceeds from the event go towards the Youth Service Bureau, which organizes youth programs such as Nourish; REINdear; CASA; Drug Free Montgomery County, among others. The dance will be held on Saturday, May 9th, at the Knowling Fieldhouse on Wabash College's campus. Tickets go live on March 23rd. The City of Crawfordsville announced Mayor Todd Barton's three-year appointment to the American Public Power Association's (APPA) Policy Makers Council. Mayor Barton will join three other constituents representing Region Two, which encompasses the states of Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin. The Policy Makers Council of the APPA is made up of various elected officials from public power communities across the United States.
