The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announced in a press release its intent to implement lane and shoulder closures on Interstate 74 between Waynetown and Veedersburg. The work is expected to begin on or after Thursday, April 16, with the right lanes going in each direction closing for up to two days. Lane shoulder closures will follow afterwards and is expected to last until July, weather permitting.
INDOT stated that the purpose of the work is to safely complete a small structure pipelining project. Work zone speed limits of 60 mph will be in effect during construction.
