The Montgomery County Advisory Plan Commission offered the County Commissioners an unfavorable recommendation on a vote of 6-2 for rezoning a parcel of land in southern Madison and northern Union townships Tuesday night. Fatal shooting in Milligan Park leaves one dead

A victim has been identified in a fatal shooting that occurred at Milligan Park Thursday night. 31-year-old Kaleb Isabell of Rockville, IN, has died from his injuries sustained from the shooting. According to a press release sent by Crawfordsville Police Chief Aaron Mattingly, officers from the Crawfordsville Police Department received a 911 call at around 10:00 p.m. reporting that a person had been shot at Milligan Park in Crawfordsville. Flagging operations on U.S. 41 near Turkey Run to begin tomorrow

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will begin daytime flagging operations on U.S. 41 near Turkey Run State Park tomorrow. Single-vehicle crash on I-74 leaves one dead

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a fatal crash that occurred Monday morning. It happened near the 27 mile-marker on Interstate 74 near Waynetown. According to the release, deputies arrived at a single-vehicle crash around 9:15 and discovered that the driver’s 2002 Suzuki XL-7 crossed through the median into both lanes of westbound traffic, and rolled into a ditch.
