Crawfordsville High School evacuated following bomb threat; no dangerous items found

No dangerous items were located following an alleged bomb threat at Crawfordsville High School Thursday morning. According to a statement released by the City of Crawfordsville, officers from the Crawfordsville Police Department were dispatched to the high school following a report of a student allegedly in possession of an explosive device at around 11:10 a.m. Officers immediately made contact with school administration to coordinate evacuation procedures. Around 12,000 eggs dotted the General Lew Wallace Study & Museum Saturday afternoon as the Community Egg Hunt got underway. Crawfordsville awarded $750k grant for wastewater improvements

The City of Crawfordsville announced in a press release that they were awarded a $750,000 grant to replace its ageing digester lids used in wastewater treatment. The award, called a Community Development Block Grant, is given through the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA).
